Fordham Institute survey revealed a nuanced parental perspective. While parents initially reacted negatively to the term "social and emotional learning," a simple adjustment turned the tide. The addition of a single clause transformed perceptions, with the term "social-emotional & academic learning" garnering favorable responses and parental buy-in.
